Short-eared Owl Surveys in the Intermountain West

In 2015, the Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership and Intermountain bird Observatory launched a state-wide effort to survey for Short-eared Owls. The program was extended into Utah by Hawkwatch International. This video presentation includes the rationale, objectives, results, and next steps for this initiative.
