These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Slideator website, applications, and services. By registering, visiting, or using Slideator, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. By registering, visiting, or using Slideator you signify your agreement to these "Terms of
Use". Although we may attempt to notify you when major changes are
made to these "Terms of Use", you should periodically review the most
up-to-date version. Slideator may, in its sole discretion,
modify or revise these Terms of Use and policies at any time, and
you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions.
2. These "Terms of Use" apply to all users of the service. The service
includes all aspects of Slideator, including but not limited
to all products, software and services offered via the
Slideator website, such as, the Slideator embeddable
player, the Slideator uploader, Google integrations, AI-powered features, and other applications.
3. In order to access some features of the service, you will have to
create a Slideator account. When creating your new account, you agree to receive updates and information from Slideator regarding the service updates. You must provide accurate information and be solely responsible for the
activity that occurs on your account. You must notify Slideator immediately of any
breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
4. Slideator integrates with third-party platforms including YouTube and Google services. In order to access certain features of the Service, you may be required to connect your Google account or upload your videos to our
YouTube Channel via Slideator application.
5. By using Slideator or uploading videos through the platform, you signify your agreement to
YouTube's Terms of Service,
Google's Privacy Policy, and
YouTube's Community Guidelines.
If you do not agree to any of these terms, please do not use Slideator.
6. You own the copyrights of any video presentation you record using Slideator Recorders. When you upload your content, you retain ownership; however, you grant Slideator and YouTube a license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.
7. If you use Slideator's embeddable player on your website,
blog or course management system, you may not modify, build upon, or
block any portion or functionality of the embeddable player,
including but not limited to links back to either Slideator
or YouTube website.
8. You understand that when using Slideator, you may be
exposed to content from a variety of sources, and that
Slideator is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness,
or legality of such content.
9. You shall be solely responsible for your content and the
consequences of submitting and publishing it. You affirm that you have all necessary rights to publish such content and grant Slideator and its partners the rights required to operate the Service.
10. Content uploaded must comply with Slideator policies and applicable laws. Slideator reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or third-party policies.
11. You agree not to upload content that infringes copyright, violates privacy, or contains unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate material.
12. Slideator may review and remove content that is pornographic, misleading, low-quality, or violates platform standards.
13. Slideator and YouTube logos may appear on hosted video presentations. You may not remove or alter these elements.
14. Uploading videos to Slideator Channel may be subject to fair usage limits, feature availability, or future service tiers.
15. You retain control over your video metadata (title, description, etc.), but editing video content requires re-uploading.
16. Slideator reserves the right to retain, display, or remove content as necessary to operate and improve the Service.
17. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. Slideator is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.
18. Video presentations are streamed and are not available for download unless explicitly permitted by the platform.
19. Privacy settings allow you to control visibility (public or unlisted). You are responsible for selecting appropriate privacy levels.
20. Limited use of copyrighted material is allowed only where legally permitted. Users are responsible for compliance with applicable copyright laws.
21. Content quality standards apply. Slideator may remove content that does not meet minimum presentation requirements.
22. Content is not created or endorsed by Slideator. Slideator disclaims liability for user-generated content.
23. Google API Services Compliance: Slideator’s use of Google API Services complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Google APIs is used solely to provide requested functionality and is not used for advertising or unrelated purposes.
24. Google Account and Data Usage: By connecting your Google account, you authorize Slideator to access limited data such as your basic profile information and selected Google Drive or Google Slides metadata, strictly for providing platform features. Slideator does not store or process Google user data beyond what is necessary.
25. YouTube API Services: Slideator uses YouTube API Services for uploading, updating, and managing video content. By using these features, you agree to YouTube’s Terms of Service. Slideator does not store or redistribute YouTube content beyond permitted functionality.
26. AI Services Integration: Slideator integrates AI services, including OpenAI APIs, to generate narration scripts and audio voiceovers. Only user-submitted content is processed by these services. No Google user data is shared with AI providers.
27. Data Security and Protection: Slideator implements industry-standard security measures, including encryption and access controls, to protect user data. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
28. Prohibited Activities: Users may not misuse the platform, including attempting unauthorized access, distributing harmful content, or violating applicable laws and regulations.
29. Termination: Slideator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable policies without prior notice.
30. Changes to the Service: Slideator may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.
