    Slideator is currently free to use. All users can enjoy the features of Slideator at no cost for a limited time. However, Slideator is going to offer three distinct plans in the near future to accommodate various user needs: the Basic Plan, which is free and ideal for those just getting started; the Personal Plan, designed for individual users requiring enhanced features; and the Professional Plan, tailored for organizations and professionals seeking comprehensive solutions for video creation, storage, and sharing. To make a payment for the Personal or Professional Plan, simply select your desired plan on our pricing page and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.   • To publish and share your video presentation, start by opening your presentation slides or document from your local drive in PPTX, KEY, ODP, WPS, or PDF format. Select your audio device and turn on your camera if you need to show your face or overlay your live camera feed. Click the Start button when you're ready to begin recording, and use the Pause/Resume button to pause and resume the recording as needed. You can toggle between different cam layouts by opening the Cam menu while recording. Once you finish recording, click the Stop button, then review your video before saving and publishing. Click the Save button to save the video to your Slideator cloud account. Share your online video presentation link with your audience, who can watch the videos with slides on their desktop and mobile devices using any OS (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Linux, Chrome, etc.). Video sharing and embedding is available in any LMS (Google Classroom, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.), MOOC (edX, Coursera, Udacity, etc.), CMS (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.), or social network. Share and embed your online video presentations in your own LMS, MOOC, or CMS environment.

  • Slideator uses the YouTube API to host videos for free, helping to minimize costs related to video hosting and streaming for our users. By integrating with YouTube, Slideator ensures that content can be easily shared while reducing the overhead typically associated with video storage and playback. For users with Professional or Enterprise plans, Slideator also offers the option to host videos on Slideator's own media streaming servers. This option is ideal for organizations needing a robust, independent hosting solution that is tailored to their needs.

  • Slideator is currently free to use! All Basic Plan users can enjoy the features of the Professional Plan at no cost for a limited time. However, Slideator offers different plans with varying feature limits to suit a range of users. The Basic Plan (Free) is ideal for students and light users, supporting PowerPoint and PDF slides (up to 12 slides per file, 3 MB limit, and one presentation per day) and videos up to 25 minutes in 450p resolution, with one video upload per day and storage on Slideator’s YouTube channel (200 MB storage, unlimited streaming). The Personal Plan allows more flexibility, with expanded slide support, up to five presentations per day (10 MB limit per file, 24 slides max) and videos up to 45 minutes in 1080p, stored on Slideator’s media server or YouTube (1 GB storage, unlimited streaming). The Professional Plan is tailored for extensive needs, offering unlimited presentations (50 MB per file, 50 slides max), videos with no time limits and up to 4K quality, and storage options on Slideator’s servers, YouTube, or both (5 GB storage, unlimited streaming). Currently, Basic users can enjoy Professional features for free for a limited time.

When users on the Basic Plan upload videos, the YouTube API allows Slideator to transfer the content directly to Slideator’s dedicated YouTube channel. This connection provides free storage and access to YouTube’s advanced video streaming technology, which includes adaptive bitrate streaming to deliver optimal quality based on the viewer’s network conditions, device, and screen size. For users on higher-tier plans, the YouTube API integration offers flexible storage choices, allowing them to store videos either on Slideator’s secure media servers or on YouTube, or both. Using YouTube’s infrastructure also means Slideator can leverage YouTube’s global content delivery network (CDN), ensuring fast, reliable streaming with minimal buffering and high-quality video playback across devices, whether on desktop, mobile, or tablet. This technical integration with YouTube through its API allows Slideator to provide a seamless and cost-effective solution for video hosting and streaming while taking advantage of YouTube’s mature and widely-supported video technology.

  • Videos recorded with the Slideator Video Recorder are created directly within your web browser, meaning they are temporarily stored locally and can only be viewed and managed within the same browser session. This ensures that recordings remain private and secure until you choose to upload them. After completing and previewing your video, simply click the “Save” button to upload it directly to your Slideator channel, where it becomes accessible for sharing, streaming, or further management.

  • No, videos recorded and uploaded through Slideator are hosted exclusively on the Slideator YouTube channel. This setup allows us to manage and streamline video storage, ensure consistent access, and maintain quality across all user content.

  • Your video may have been removed from Slideator for several reasons outlined in our Terms of Use. Common causes include violations of compliance standards, such as containing inappropriate content (e.g., pornographic or sexually explicit material), not meeting quality requirements (e.g., altered or poor-quality videos), or including third-party copyrighted material without permission. Additionally, videos must be recorded using Slideator Recorders; any other content will be removed. If your video was removed, we recommend reviewing our Terms of Use to understand the compliance requirements and ensure adherence to platform policies.
