One of Slideator’s core competencies is ability to produce effective and quality research-based software and platforms. The capacity and desire to develop and support different and innovative solution in the field of video production and e-learning is one of the great strengths of Slideator. Slideator introduced the presentation recorder and the video hosting platform at the same time which attracted thousands of users when dozens of free and paid screen casting and video capturing software, like Camtasia, Screencast-O-Matic, and Screencastify were available in the market. Slideator is filled with entrepreneurial individuals who believe in their work and want to make a significant contribution to their company and community. These individuals can provide consistent and low-cost customer service using an easy-to-use e-commerce solutions and teams of local specialists in media production and educational technology.

In Slideator, we think that the greatest experience and strength is our ability to develop solutions to solve any educational or business problem related to the integration of technology in teaching and training. This helps us to establish a personal rapport with them and ensures that our consultative dialogues are productive.

As an important part of any digital media development process is giving and receiving feedback from end users, it is essential to be able to not only offer constructive criticism, but to receive it as well. In Slideator, we have strong research experience and technology skills in the development and evaluation of new e-learning solutions, with a deep understanding of how people learn to use and integrate these technologies in different situations and settings. In addition, the team is proficient in the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS), and how SCORM content management systems operate, which is critical in our situation. The video content developed using Slideator is easy to parse, separate, and reuse. It also easy for learners of all levels to use and understand.

Product and service we are planning to develop
Slideator project aims to develop to distinct components; a presentation recording tool and an online video hosting and sharing platform. The first aim is to develop a tool to assist presenters with automating the process of synchronizing and recording presentations using their own desktop computers. This tool should take advantage of the concept of screen casting and be able to synchronize all screen and audio activities in the user’s computer, such as webcam footage, PowerPoint slides, text editor, and drawing board. The presentation recorder allows users to capture, annotate, and narrate slides, and synchronize a variety of visual media, including camera and computer screen. The recorder automates the process of recording and ensures that users only need minimal technical experience in video production and spend no additional time creating or editing video content.

MS Visual Studio 2019, a high-level, object-oriented graphical user interface-driven development platform for Windows, will be used to design user interfaces and to code the screen recording. The primary output of this phase is a complete code, a fully functional prototype of the video presentation recorder. The software has two major aspects: display and capture. The software involves displaying content in a secondary window within the parent window, which allows the user to display, manipulate, and narrate the content the same way as one would in full-screen mode. Using navigation buttons, the instructor can navigate forward and backward through slides and employ other features, including slide transitions, text and graphic animation, slide timing, mouse movement, audio effects, embedded video, and pen annotation.

The same window is used as a camera viewer to show the presenter’s video footage using an integrated or external webcam. Additionally, more than one camera may be connected to give views of the scene periodically. The instructor can generate professional-looking video presentations by switching between multiple camera views, which is an important aspect of creating attractive video materials. The instructor can merge and display the camera video footage inside the content window (picture in picture) or add the video footage beside the content window (side by side).

The second aim is to develop an online platform using the latest YouTube Data API to upload video to YouTube servers and combine it with scrollable slide thumbnails. Thumbnails are miniature versions of PowerPoint presentation slides similar to slide sorter view in PowerPoint. Thumbnails are arranged in horizontal view to allow the learner to navigate through the video content and to control both the player and sequence of video presentation. In addition, this association helps to break the forced pace and linear consumption of video content, allowing the learner to move to the respective video content and control both the time and progress of video presentation.

Factors will give our products competitive advantages
Problems emerging while ordinary screen recording may be caused by many factors, starting from hardware issues to software issues. The potential of screen recording as a tool to save content from a screen is often overlooked. That being said because it records video footage of anything and everything that is on your screen, you can use it to save any content that is present there. With many possible issues that may arise while recording, recording may often be very frustrating task to do, especially when presenters plan to add commentary to videos. There are just so many things that can go wrong. Sometimes it is very hard for teachers to focus on recording, due to the fact that so many windows hang on the screen, or they have not the ability to manage computer screen while recording. This means that keeping software and hardware are not the only things they need to keep tidy. Presenter’s eyes need to focus only on the most important things needed for recording, so they should close browser tabs and unnecessary word processing apps and keep only the things they need for recording, which is not easy for all teachers.

Slideator is ideal for distance learning students, part-time students and international students–really any student who cannot be physically present in a teaching room at a given time for any number of reasons. By providing the flexibility to watch the recorded lecture from any location, whenever they like, students have much more control over their learning.

Viewing recorded material provides more opportunities for interaction during class time. Since students can preview course material or information-based tutorials in their own time, topics are illuminated during contact time by means of debates, interaction and more in-depth exploration of themes and better-quality debates. However, another problem is the prescribed rate of viewing, meaning one minute of video content is consumed per one minute of watching time in a prescribed direction. This prevents learners from learning at their own pace and their own arrangement.

Although YouTube’s video player allows learners to easily skip forward and backward on the video streamline to locate relevant content, the video player does not provide such a solution to integrate the video with the slide content. Slideator platform offers a new way to combine the video content with the presentation slide thumbnails.

Thumbnails are arranged in vertical view to allow the learner to browse and navigate through the video content and to control both the player and sequence of video presentation. In addition, this association helps to break the forced pace and linear consumption of video content, allowing the learner to move to the respective video content and control both the time and progress of video presentation. For example, if the learner needs to watch the instructor’s explanations on the fifth slide, the learner clicks on slide thumbnail to skip directly to the video part associated with this slide.

Pricing, fee, and leasing structures of our products and services
Once Slideator recorder and platform are ready for market, the priority is to ensure that the right customers are made aware of its value. The pricing structure will divide feature availability in the presentation recorder and online video sharing platform according to buyer personas. More explanation on how each tier could benefit each potential buyer persona would make this already-effective demonstration of their pricing structure even more appealing. Overall, the pricing structure is broken down into two parts:
1.The price of presentation recorder (software).
2.The price of video uploading and hosting (online platform).

Tiered pricing model will be used to give a prospective buyer multiple subscription options, distinguishing them by the features included in the software and the platform. For the software, two different versions will be available, Lite version, and Pro version. The Lite version will be available for free for demonstration and trial purposes and to encourage buyers to buy the Pro version, will be available with three different licenses: individual license ($26), teamwork license ($75), and site-wide license ($350). Also, there are two types of payment for video uploading, one lifetime payment for $49, and monthly or yearly subscription for $3.99 or $32 respectively.

Marketing Plan
The findings indicated that in Egypt (in similarly worldwide)
- An increasing demand from various end-user sectors in education is propelling the e-learning industry demand.
- The coronavirus pandemic has further driven the industry demand for e-learning solutions among students and educators during the last few months (March – September 2020).
- Over 20 million children and more than three million university students are out of classrooms with the education sector shut down in March 2020 due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
- Online video is especially useful for e-learning. Since learners are already accustomed to watching short videos for entertainment, watching short videos to learn for work is an easy option.
- Online videos are also a great way to introduce new topics and today, it is not acceptable to find any online course without videos as a fundamental component of this course.

Size of product market, the percent share of the market, and current demand in target market In the market of online video creation and e-learning, virtually everyone can be counted in our big whole market figure. In Egypt only, over 4 million school and university educator and around 25 million students are the potential customers that would be a good fit for our business. Beside education sector, there more than five million business professionals in Egypt who are intended to use online video creation and sharing tools and platform like Slideator. By the end of 2021, Slideator's market share for Egyptian e-learning market is estimated by 25%, and not less than 2.5% of the total global market of online video presentation recording and sharing.

The growth potential and opportunity for a business During the last few months, and with school and university closures in Egypt and around the globe, the coronavirus pandemic has forced educational institutions and government to deliver on these needs by increasing the adoption of e-learning solutions to recreate the in-class experience online. There is an unprecedented adoption of online video for teaching and collaborative purposes. Slideator is a solution (software and online video management platform) that help teachers to record lectures, lessons, or presentation in digital format for later viewing. This solution enables content to be captured, stored, accessed, and annotated for streaming, on-demand consumption on diverse connected end-user devices, including PCs, tablets, and smart phones. In the coronavirus pandemic, when face-to-face teaching is not possible, the demand for video in education and corporate learning is showing phenomenal growth. This has increased demand for Slideator project that allows educators to record and deliver lectures, and for students to record and submit their video assignments. To support educational institutions and faculty who are being forced to adopt these solutions at a faster rate than they expected, Slideator is providing short-term training and resources to help educators onboard quickly and increase in platform users at little cost.

Entry barriers
One of the initial barriers to entry is the high cost of online advertising, such as Google and Facebook ads. Reaching a big number of users who are willing to use an online platform for recording and sharing video presentations is very costly and time consuming even with the use of successful SEO strategies. Some other barriers to entry exist because of other firms supported by the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, or those who need to protect their revenues and profits around the globe.

Targeted customers and their demographics
Existing customers are educational institutions, companies, university and school teachers who are engaged in e-learning activities offered and managed by their universities and schools, and students who need extra help with a class lessons. Slideator will be used in marketing also to promote and market products or services, increase engagement on digital and social channels, educate consumers and customers, and reach audience with a new medium.
