The Founder

Alaa Sadik is an internationally recognized professor and visionary leader in educational technology and innovation, the founder of the scalable EdTech platform Slideator Project, and a member of the Internet Society. He received his Ph.D. in educational technology from the University of Hull, UK, in 2003. His distinguished career includes strategic academic and leadership roles at Sultan Qaboos University (Oman), the Arab Open University (Oman), the USAID-funded Partners for Competitive Egypt project, and Qena University (Egypt).

Dr. Sadik brings more than 20 years of strategic leadership, executive oversight, and research excellence in driving EdTech innovation, digital transformation, large-scale e-learning ecosystems, and distance education. A proven agent of change, he has received numerous prestigious regional and international awards for his exceptional contributions to the development, scaling, and implementation of cutting-edge educational technology across the Arab region.

His expertise centers on the strategic integration of emerging technologies and innovative digital frameworks into modern curricula. Dr. Sadik specializes in leading cross-functional teams to build sustainable, technology-enhanced learning organizations, scaling educational infrastructures, and aligning digital transformation initiatives with institutional vision and regional growth.

As a forward-thinking innovator, Dr. Sadik champions the integration of high-impact multimedia and AI-driven content delivery systems to address modern educational challenges. Demonstrating strong entrepreneurial and product leadership, he conceptualized and developed Slideator—an advanced online platform designed to democratize and automate video presentation delivery.
