Beyond the Slide Deck: How Slideator Built a Native Engine for Interactive Video Presentations

Our engineering team developed a custom OOXML engine inside Slide Creator.

Instead of relying on third-party file converters or external APIs, Slide Creator parses .pptx and presentation structures natively—matching the structural precision of desktop tools like MS PowerPoint and Google Slides.

When you bring a deck into Slideator, the browser interprets the underlying OOXML elements. This means your slides remain fully editable presentation assets, not just flat background images.
